Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search box is sent to the outside provider that supplies that result. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. If you contact us, we receive the contents of your message and use them to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
The host records ordinary server-log information such as an IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. We review it in aggregate for security, site performance, and readership patterns. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics or advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
Information supports operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and improvements to the directory. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual user profiles.
External Services
Links lead to county and state portals, library collections, archives, and outside search tools. Their own policies govern information you submit after leaving this directory, including information entered for sponsored search results.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Hosting and support providers process the server-log data for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. We disclose information only when valid legal process requires it.
Security Practices
The directory uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the purposes described here. Because there are no accounts, the directory does not hold a user password or profile for exposure.
Visitors Under 18
This directory is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from people under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor sent information, and we will remove it.
Your Information Requests
Depending on your location, you may have rights to seek access, correction, or deletion of data that a website keeps. We keep little, so a request generally involves checking the contact mailbox and relevant logs. Send it through the Contact page. Public records held by New Jersey offices are controlled by their custodians and by statutes such as the New Jersey Open Public Records Act, N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq.; requests about those records belong with the office that holds them.
Policy Changes
A revised policy will appear here. Continued use after publication of a revision means you accept that version.
